Piast have a poor start to the new season. Key players of the previous campaign, Vacek and Nespor, have left in summer. Coach Latal wanted reinforcements, but were not given it and he resigned 9 days ago. Temporary coach Necek is in charge of the team, he was given 2 months to prove his abilities. He started in very poor way, with 1:5 away loss to Cracovia. Necek criticised his players after that match and Polish footballers don't like it in general. Hosts have a number of important players doubtful for this match (Hebert, Mraz, Zivec).
Wisla Plock are newcomers, but it seems that they are a solid team and they started well, with a home victory over favoured Lechia (2:1). In my opinion visitors should take advantage of Piast's problems and get a positive result.
